We are a group of high school and middle school students fascinated with the rapidly changing cybersecurity field. We were introduced to cybersecurity through the CyberPatriot competition several years ago and immediately loved it!
Later, we began participating in other events such as CyberStart America and picoCTF. We realized the importance of cybersecurity and wanted to introduce it to more students. That is why we founded Youth Cyber Defender.
Over the past few years, we have hosted educational sessions for young students, invited industry experts as guest speakers, and organized site visits to local colleges and companies.
Armed with growing cybersecurity skills, we initiated a project to help protect local small businesses from cyberattacks by conducting cybersecurity assessments. Since 2023, we have successfully helped to protect over 7000 users.
